Many orchid growers think that the best pot is a plastic clear orchid pot . One of the reasons that orchid hobbyists repot often is because it's a tremendous idea to get a look at orchid roots. In a clear orchid pot , a lot of the roots are observable to the cultivator. The grower will still have to remove the orchid from its pot sometimes to ensure for tiny pests, etc. But the clear pot does save some re-poting. Remember that potting material leans to dry out more promptly in a plastic pot than in a ceramic or clay pot.
